NEC n703iu: World's Thinnest
You know, with every damn company and their dog claiming they have the world's thinnest phone, such as the Samsung 5.9mm (.23 inches) U100, I think we'll hold off on any official titles. The n703iu from NEC measures in at .45-inches thick when closed. The outer shell of this phone lacks any kind of miniature LCD screen, rather it uses a series of 49 LEDs that flash in a pattern according to indicate whether calls, e-mails or text messages are being received. It's like an epileptic's nightmare. It is a 3G handset that will, unfortunately, only be available for NTT DoCoMo in Japan. '"Travis Hudson The thinnest flip-phone (of the hour) [Crave]
