AT&T Launches Pay-Per-Use Push-To-Talk
Great news for inconsiderate people as AT&T/Cingular's rolling out push-to-talk on their network on a pay-per-use basis. That means if you're not sure you want to commit to a $9.99 (or $19.99 for families) unlimited use plan to annoy people month after month, you now have a pay-as-you-go option as well. AT&T will charge you 15 cents a minute for doing PTT, which you can then convert to a real phone call to save on PTT minutes. Other features like availability status (like IM status), call-me alerts, contact alerts, and quick group calling are also available. '" Jason Chen Press Release [Cingular via Mobile Tech Review]
