mainsgh_a707_main.jpgThe Samsung SGH-A707 is on its way to US shores, giving Cingular users an alternative to that ubiquitous Motorola RAZR. This clamshell brings features reaching toward the next level, including a 2-megapixel camera and HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access) for quicker downloads. The 17.5mm (2/3 of an inch)-thick phone is tricked out for music, handling Windows Media DRM if necessary and playing back MP3s, AAC + and RealAudio files, too. However, if it can download music faster with its HSDPA capability, those who are stuck with Cingular might find it to be a worthy competitor nonetheless.
