ubiquam-520-skylink-dual-cdma-ev-do-gsm-gprs-phone.jpg When it comes to cell phones, your mobile either operates on the CMDA or GSM frequency. Here in the States that means Sprint/Verizon vs AT&T/T-Mobile. Ubiquam's U520, however, is the first mobile to operate on both standards. Speed-wise, it supports up to 2.4 Mbps data transfer rates on CDMA EV-DO, but maxes out at 80 kbps on GSM. Otherwise, the bicurious phone is pretty ordinary with a 2-megapixel camera, built-in Bluetooth, and a memory card slot.
