T-Mobile Does Wi-Fi: T-Mobile Bringing Wi-Fi Cellphones to its Line
T-Mobile customers listen up. Starting this summer, T-Mobile will begin rolling out Wi-Fi cellphones that you can use to make calls over the Web from any hotspot. According to the Wall Street Journal, the new service will be called Hotspot at Home. The service was being tested out in Seattle and could begin nationwide as early as as next month. Wi-Fi cellphones are still pretty rare, but how many of you guys would jump at something like this? Unless I'm surrounded by open hotspots, I don't see the use.
