PSPhone: Mod Turns PSP into

An Israeli hacker (in the traditional, romantic sense of the word) has created a chip that allegedly turns Sony's PSP into a an almost fully functional cellphone, "almost" because the PSP is yet unable to actually make calls. The mod, which the person claims will cost around $60, lets the PSP receive CDMA and GSM phone calls and display signal strength on the spacious PSP screen. Right now, the hacker is working on trying to get his little device into "mass production," which makes the whole thing seem a little fishy. How convinced are you by this Blair Witch Project-esque video?. '€" Nicholas Deleon psphone [QJ.NET Forums via PSP Hacks]
