HTC Vox Keyboard-Enabled Smartphone Gets Firmer, Less

htcvox2.jpgThe renders we've shown you of the HTC Vox seems to be pretty much on target, detailing a regular smartphone-like device but with a slide-out keyboard. Boy Genius has the first "live" shot of the HTC box, albeit with a pasted-on screen. It looks like the Vox (S710) will have a 2.4-inch QVGA screen, 128MB ROM/64MB RAM, 802.11b/g, Quad-Band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, 200MHz OMAP processor, Bluetooth, USB 1.1, and microSD expansion slot. Nothing we haven't seen before in HTC devices. The most interesting thing is, of course, the slide-out keyboard. Having a full-sized Cingular 8525-like keyboard should make the Vox a pretty great buy for users who need a more compact smartphone. '€" Jason Chen HTC Vox Smartphone Revealed! [Boy Genius Report]
